Brad Mills Returns from Disabled List

SALT LAKE CITY (June 23, 2012) - The Salt Lake Bees announced today that left-handed pitcher Brad Mills has been activated from the Disabled List and will start in tonight's home game against the Reno Aces.

Mills, 27, was placed on the Disabled List on May 29, retroactive to May 26, with left shoulder inflammation. In eight games (six starts) for the Bees this season, he owns a 3-3 record with a 3.76 ERA and 25 strikeouts.

Originally selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the fourth round of the 2007 Draft out of the University of Arizona, Mills has appeared in a total of 14 major league games, all with the Blue Jays. In those 14 games, he went 2-3 with an 8.57 ERA in 48.1 innings pitched. Mills joined the Angels via free agency from Toronto in exchange for catcher Jeff Mathis on December 3, 2011.
