Tonight's Game

Tonight the Oklahoma City RedHawks continue an eight-game home stand with game two of a four game series against the Tacoma Rainiers... The current series is the first for OKC against a Pacific Conference team in 2011, and the start of a 16-game stretch against the Pacific Conference (vs. TAC, vs. SLC, @SAC, @FRE)...The RedHawks enter Wednesday 6.0 games back of first place Round Rock in the American Southern division...Tacoma is 9.0 games back of first place Reno in the Pacific Northern Division...

Today's Starting Pitchers

OKC starter Ryan Rowland-Smith makes his first start against the Mariners organization after spending the first 10 years of his professional career with the Seattle system... Rowland-Smith makes his seventh appearance and sixth start of 2011 tonight, carrying a 1-2 record and 5.18 ERA with 7 walks and 20 strikeouts... RH Chaz Roe makes his seventh start of the season for Tacoma, with an 0-3 record and 8.10 ERA, 14 walks and 22 strikeouts...

Transactions

P David Carpenter has been promoted to Oklahoma City from Double-A Corpus Christi... OF Collin Delome has been placed on the disabled list with a left biceps strain, retroactive to May 10...The RedHawks have 23 active players, one short of the league maximum, with one Major League rehabilitation assignment and five players on the disabled list...

Last Game: OKC 10, TAC 5

Tommy Manzella became the first in the PCL during 2011 to hit for the cycle while leading the RedHawks to a 10-5 win over Tacoma last night at RedHawks Field at Bricktown...Manzella, Brandon Barnes and Anderson Hernandez each hit home runs, the first three-home run game for OKC in 2011...Sergio Perez took the winning decision after allowing three runs and nine hits over five and one-thirds innings...Chris Seddon fell in the loss for Tacoma, charged with six runs and seven hits over six innings...

OKC vs. TAC

Today's game is the second of a four-game season series between the RedHawks and Rainiers...Tacoma, Salt Lake, Reno and Colorado Springs (all Pacific Northern) visit RedHawks Field at Bricktown for one series during 2011 without a return trip for the RedHawks...The RedHawks will travel to each Pacific Southern team (Sacramento, Fresno, Las Vegas, Tucson) for a single series each during 2011...

Series Openers

Last night's win moved Oklahoma City to 8-1 in series-opening games...The RedHawks have posted only a 2-4-2 series record, with the only series wins coming April 23-26 at Round Rock and May 2-5 vs. Nashville...
