Today's Game: One night after having their 11-game home win streak snapped, the RedHawks will try and start a new one when they resume their series against the Salt Lake Bees. RedHawks pitcher Jarred Cosart looks to keep his undefeated record (4-0) alive.

Last Game: Salt Lake got to leads of 3-0 and 6-1 before the RedHawks put together a trademark bottom of the ninth rally that fell short this time in a 6-4 defeat. The Bees constantly had runners on base and led 3-0 in the fifth when Che-Husan Lin got the RedHawks on the board with a sac fly. Heading to the bottom of the ninth, Salt Lake led 6-1, but the RedHawks wouldn't go down easily. Lin smacked a three-run homer to pull within 6-4. The RedHawks loaded the bases with two outs, but Brandon Laird to flied out to deep right field to the end the game. Bees pitcher Billy Buckner went a season-high eight-plus innings, allowing three runs and eight hits in the win.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Staff leader Jarred Cosart heads to the mound looking to further build on his great start to the season...Cosart is 4-0 and leads the team in wins, innings, and strikeouts...His 2.18 ERA currently ranks sixth in the league and his .206 opponent batting average is fourth-lowest among starting pitchers...During his last start, Cosart tied a career high with 10 strikeouts while firing 5.2 scoreless innings in a win over Tacoma Tuesday. It was also the first time a RedHawks pitcher struck out 10 batters since Rich Harden on Aug. 18, 2010. Cosart is now averaging 11.05 strikeouts per nine innings, which is second-best in the PCL...Overall he is having an outstanding season and has allowed one or no runs in six of his seven outings.

Against the Bees: 2013: 0-1 2012: 0-4 All-time: 36-41 In OKC: 21-16

Dating back to 2011, the Bees have now seven-straight games over the RedHawks...The last OKC win was a 5-2 victory May 15, 2011 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark...Last season the Bees swept a four-game set at Spring Mobile Ballpark, winning a pair of extra-inning games...Four of the last five games between the squads have been decided by one or two runs...The last time Salt Lake visited Bricktown, the Bees won the series, 3-1 in 2011...The RedHawks have historically found success against Salt Lake at home, leading the series in OKC, 21-16.

It Was a Good Run: The RedHawks 11-game home win streak was halted last night. It was only the third time in the 16-year history of Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark they had a home win streak reach double digits. Last season the RedHawks made team history with a 14-game home win streak, May 10-June 7. They also won 13-straight in OKC, Aug. 12-Sept. 2, 1999.

Running With the Pac: The RedHawks are in the midst of a stretch of 16-straight games against Pacific Conference foes, going 4-1 so far. Last season the RedHawks went 14-17 against the other side of the league, including an 8-7 mark at home.

Linsanity: Che-Hsuan Lin's ninth-inning blast last night was his first home run in over a year. Lin last went deep on May 5, 2012 while playing for the Pawtucket Red Sox in a game at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The dinger snapped a home run drought that spanned 405 at-bats. He also set a season high with four RBIs, marking just the fourth time in the last three seasons he had driven in more than two runs in a game. The four RBI were also his highest total since collecting five RBI on June 24, 2011 with Pawtucket (at Indianapolis).

Going Down With a Fight: Each of the last four times the RedHawks have been trailing heading to the bottom of the ninth, they have been down by at least five runs. However, they rallied to send the game to extra innings twice and at least had the tying run either or base or at plate in the other two instances before falling.

Home Hurlers: Over the last 12 home games, the pitching staff has posted a 2.63 ERA (31 ER/106 IP). They have allowed two or less runs eight times and allowed more than three runs just three times. In four of the last six games in OKC, the RedHawks have held their opponent to one or no runs. During the Tacoma series, the RedHawks surrendered just eight runs with four coming in one inning (4th inning on Wednesday). In three of the four games they held the Rainiers scoreless through eight innings.

At Your Own RISP: The RedHawks have held their opponents to a .103 average (3-for-29) with runners in scoring position the last three games as well as a .146 mark (7-for-48) during the current homestand.

Villar Vexing the PCL: Jonathan Villar is hitting .386 (39x101) over his last 25 games. After getting off to a 2-for-34 start, Villar has been one of the best hitters in the league. Since April 15, he has more hits (39) than anyone else in the PCL and the second-most in all of the Minor Leagues. He also leads the team with 13 stolen bases, good for second in the PCL.

Wally World: Brett Wallace has hit safely in 11 of his last 12 games, batting .362 (17-for-47) with three home runs and nine RBI. Despite playing in just over half of the team's games this season, he is second on the club with five home runs.

The Runnin' RedHawks of OKC: The RedHawks lead the league with 53 stolen bases, including 32 in the last 14 games. They have swiped at least one bag in 13 of those games.

DeKline: After striking out 39 Tacoma batters over the previous series, the RedHawks pitching staff fanned just three Bees last night.

System-Wide Success: All four of the Houston Astros' full-season minor league affiliates have at least 20 wins following last night. The Astros are tied with Minnesota for the best overall organizational record (84-56).
