Today's Game: The RedHawks will try and sweep the Tacoma Rainiers out of town when they match up in their final meeting of 2013 at 7:05 p.m. Oklahoma City is currently riding the third-longest home win streak in club history, taking the last 10 games at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. There will be post-game fireworks tonight presented by FAA Credit Union.

Last Game: OKC took a 3-0 lead in the season series against Tacoma with a 3-1 win Thursday in Bricktown. Brett Wallace had two hits and one RBI, while Jonathan Villar had two hits and two stolen bases. Pitcher Asher Wojciechowski (1-0) allowed five hits, walked three and struck out three in six shutout innings. Andy Simunic singled on a ground ball to second and Brandon Laird scored the first run of the night on a Tacoma throwing error. Wallace hit a RBI double to the wall in left field, and Laird followed with a RBI single for a 3-0 edge in the sixth inning. Tacoma's lone run of the game came during the ninth.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Brett Oberholtzer makes the start looking to turn his season around...Oberholtzer has been inconsistent in 2013, leading to a 7.71 ERA and losses in three of his last four starts. In four of his five starts this season, the lefty has allowed at least four runs...His previous game was in the front end of a doubleheader in Iowa Sunday. He was charged with the loss, allowing four runs and six hits over 3.2 innings...The last time he pitched in OKC, Oberholtzer tossed five-plus effective innings on April 28 against New Orleans and earned his first win of the season...Oberholtzer has faced Tacoma once in his career, taking a defeat on Aug. 4, 2012 at Cheney Stadium (4.2 IP, 4 ER, 8 H, BB, 3 K).

Against the Rainiers: 2013: 3-0 2012: 1-3 All-time: 39-39 In OKC: 24-15

The RedHawks have clinched a win in the season series for the just the third time in the last 10 seasons...The RedHawks and Rainiers have gone to extra innings at least once in each of their past three series...The Rainiers won last year's series, 3-1...Tacoma won the third game of the series with a walk-off home run from Nick Franklin in the bottom of the 11th inning (4-3)...Each team totaled 35 hits apiece during the 2012 series...During their previous series at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in 2011, the teams split a four-game set with the RedHawks winning the first two games

Sweep Stories: A win tonight would give the RedHawks their first sweep of Tacoma since the RedHawks took all four from the Rainiers, Aug. 8-11, 2005 in Bricktown. It would also mark the RedHawks second series sweep of 2013 (vs. Nashville, April 29-May 2).

Getting on the Board: In each of the first three games of this series, one team has been held scoreless through eight innings, only to break through in the ninth to prevent a shutout... All 10 of the RedHawks' runs in the last two games have scored with two outs. OKC scored seven runs Wednesday with two outs, including six in the bottom of the ninth inning, and added three more two-out runs Thursday.

Running With the Pac: The RedHawks are in the midst of a stretch of 16-straight games against Pacific Conference foes, going 3-0 so far. Last season the RedHawks went 14-17 against the other side of the league, including an 8-7 mark at home.

A Perfect 10: The RedHawks have run their current home win streak to 10 games. It's only the third time in the 16-year history of Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark they've had a home win streak reach double digits. Last season the RedHawks made team history with a 14-game home win streak, May 10-June 7. They also won 13-straight in OKC, Aug. 12-Sept. 2, 1999.

Home Hurlers: During the team's current 10-game home win streak, the pitching staff has posted a 2.57 ERA (25 ER/88 IP). They

have allowed two or less runs seven times and allowed more than three runs just twice. In three of the last four home games, the RedHawks have held their opponent to exactly one run.

Villar Vexing the PCL: Jonathan Villar collected his team-leading 14th multi-hit game of the season last night. He is hitting .398 (37x93) over his last 23 games. After getting off to a 2-for-34 start, Villar has been one of the best hitters in the league. Since April 15, he has more hits (37) than anyone else in the Minor Leagues. He has also taken over the team lead with 12 stolen bases, good for second in the PCL.

Wally World: Brett Wallace has hit safely in nine of his last 10 games, batting .385 (15-for-39) with three home runs and nine RBI. Despite playing in just over half of the team's games this season, he is second on the club with five home runs. Wallace is currently averaging one home run per 14.8 plate appearances, which would rank fifth in the league if he had enough plate appearances to qualify.

The Runnin' RedHawks of OKC: The RedHawks lead the league with 51 stolen bases, including 30 in the last 12 games. They have stolen at least one base in 12 consecutive games. Last night was the fifth time this season they've swiped at least four in a game.

Purposeful at the Plate: Last night the RedHawks offense tied a season low with only two strikeouts. However, it's their lowest total in a nine-inning game this year.

Two-Stepping: Last season the RedHawks played the second-most one-run games in the PCL. This season they've had a bit more breathing room, playing in a league-leading 11 games decided by two runs (9-2). Tacoma and Round Rock are tied for second with eight games decided by two runs.
