Oklahoma City Comets News Release

Des Moines, Iowa - For the second consecutive day, the Oklahoma City and Iowa Cubs had their scheduled game postponed at Principal Park. One day after snow caused a game to be postponed, Saturday's culprit was rain.

No official date has been announced as to when these two teams will make up the game, but it will be during the RedHawks next visit to Des Moines, May 24-27. This is already the fifth RedHawks game this season to be postponed because of inclement weather, four of which have occurred on the road.

The RedHawks and Cubs are still scheduled to play a doubleheader on Sunday in order to make up for Friday's postponement. Both games will be seven innings, and the first one will start at 1:05 p.m. Live coverage begins at 12:35 p.m. on AM 1340 "The Game", 1340thegame.com, or through the free IHeartRadio mobile app.
