
I-Cubs Postponed by Rain

Des Moines, IA - Tonight's game between the Iowa Cubs and Oklahoma City RedHawks scheduled for 7:05 at Principal Park has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a double-header when the RedHawks return to Des Moines over Memorial Day weekend.
The Cubs and RedHawks will play a double-header tomorrow at 1:05 p.m. The gates will open at 11:35 am and the first 1,000 fans will receive a magnet schedule sponsored by Pittsburgh Paints. Tomorrow is a Family Day when fans can get four reserved grandstand tickets, four pizza slices, four soft drinks, and four caps for $48. Fans can also bring three canned food items and receive a free general admission ticket for Sunday's game. Weather permitting, kids can run the bases after the game sponsored by Safeco Insurance. The game will be broadcast live on AM 940 and streamed live at iowacubs.com with the On-Deck Circle Pre-Game Show starting at 12:45.
