RedBlacks to Host Blue Bombers in 2022 Home Opener

OTTAWA - The Ottawa REDBLACKS will play two preseason games on May 27, and June 3, 2022, before opening their 2022 CFL season with a visit to the two-time defending Grey Cup champion Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Friday, June 10, 2022, at 7:30pm EDT.
It's a Friday Night Football back-to-back for the REDBLACKS, who will return to TD Place on June 17, for another 7:30pm EDT matchup with the Blue Bombers. It will be the first of four Friday Night Football matchups in front of RNation, along with a pair of Thursday showdowns and a trio of Saturday games also on the docket, including the season finale against the reigning East Division champion Ti-Cats, on Saturday, October 29.
The 2022 CFL schedule also has the REDBLACKS set for nine games on the road, including the season opener in Winnipeg, and the Thanksgiving Classic on October 10, in Montreal. All in all, Ottawa will visit both Hamilton and Montreal twice, along with stops in Winnipeg, Saskatchewan, Toronto, Edmonton, and BC. Five road games will be featured on Friday Night Football, with a pair of others on Saturday's, and a rare Sunday matchup with the Argonauts on July 31.
Ottawa's preseason schedule begins with a home game against the Argos, followed by a visit to the Alouettes, with both set for 7:30pm EST.
The 2022 CFL playoffs will conclude with the 109th Grey Cup, from Mosaic Stadium in Saskatchewan, on Sunday, November 20, at 6:00pm EST.
