Tiger-Cats 2022 Schedule Announced
December 16, 2021 - Canadian Football League (CFL)
Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release
The Canadian Football League (CFL) unveiled its full schedule for the 2022 season Thursday, including the Hamilton Tiger-Cats balanced slate of 18 games with no more than two consecutive home or road games at any point throughout the season.
"With home games scheduled nearly every second week throughout the summer and predominantly on weekends, we have a great variety of options for our fans in 2022," said Matt Afinec, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Tiger-Cats. "The incredible atmosphere and home field advantage our fans create at Tim Hortons Field was on full display in 2021, and we can't wait to welcome everyone back next May to do it all over again."
Highlights of Hamilton's nine 2022 regular season home games at Tim Hortons Field include the home opener on Saturday, June 18 against the Calgary Stampeders at 6:30 p.m., a Canada Day tilt against the Edmonton Elks on Friday, July 1 at 7:30 p.m., and an afternoon kickoff of 1 p.m. for the Labour Day Classic against the Toronto Argonauts on Monday, September 5. The oldest rivalry in the league heats back up in 2022 as the Tiger-Cats will suit up four times against the Argonauts overall, including twice at Tim Hortons Field and twice on the road at BMO Field. Hamilton will not host the BC Lions or visit the Edmonton Elks in 2022.
