NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Saturday night's scheduled 6:35 p.m. contest between the Memphis Redbirds and cross-state rival Nashville Sounds at Greer Stadium was postponed due to rain.
The game will be made up as part of a 2:05 p.m. doubleheader on Sunday afternoon (April 28), when the two teams will play a pair of seven-inning contests.
Memphis is scheduled to send left-hander John Gast (2-0, 0.00) to the mound in the twinbill opener against Sounds righty Mike Fiers (0-0, 0.00). The Redbirds' game two starter is TBA, while Nashville counters with left-hander Zach Kroenke (0-2, 8.74).
