GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Detroit Red Wings on Sunday recalled defensemen Brian Lashoff and Brendan Smith from the Grand Rapids Griffins.
Lashoff, 22, is in his third professional season and shows 35 points (11-24-35) in 160 career games with Grand Rapids. The Albany, N.Y., native, who recorded a career-high 19 points (8-11-19) and 41 penalty minutes in 76 games with the Griffins in 2011-12, has six points (2-4-6) and six penalty minutes in 35 games with the team this season.
