
Hamilton Bulldogs Sign Tyler Murovich to P.T.O.

HAMILTON, ONT - Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today that the Club has signed forward Tyler Murovich to a Professional Try-Out Contract. As per club policy, financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Murovich, 23, has played 38 games this season for the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL and ranks fourth on the team in points recording 23 (9 goals, 14 assists) and 49 penalty minutes. In 143 regular season games in the ECHL with the Reading Royals, Wheeling Nailers and Gwinnett Gladiators from 2011-2013, Murovich has registered 90 points (34 goals, 56 assists) a +8 rating and 177 penalty minutes. The native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania played 32 regular season games in the American Hockey League with the Syracuse Crunch, Springfield Falcons and Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Penguins in 2010 and 2011 posting 10 points (4 goals, 6 assists) and 25 penalty minutes. The 5'9", 185-pound forward spent three seasons with the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League from 2007-2010 notching 153 points (70 goals, 83 assists) a +51 rating and 206 penalty minutes in 189 regular season games.
The Bulldogs' next game is against the Heat in Abbotsford at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15th. All 'Dogs games during the month of January will be broadcast on Hamilton's Funny 820 (AM 820), with select games simulcast on Montreal's TSN Radio 690 (AM 690). The game will also air on SiriusXM NHL Network Radio. Fans can also listen to and watch all 'Dogs games on www.hamiltonbulldogs.com. Live coverage with the broadcast team of Play-By-Play Announcer Derek Wills (all home and away games) and Colour Commentator Al Craig (all home and select away games) will begin with the Pioneer Pre-Game Show 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
