TONIGHT'S GAME: The red-hot Red Wings wrap up their two-game series with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs tonight (7:05 p.m.) at Frontier Field. The Wings come-from-behind win in front of a packed house on Friday, was their 6th straight win as Rochester has moved back within 1.5 games of first-place Syracuse in the IL North . The Wings have answered a 10-game stretch (6/15-6/23) in which they went just 3-7 with an 8-2 run over the last 11 days (6/24- ). Lehigh Valley - in 5th place in the North (9.0 GB) - had their 3-game win streak snapped last night and are just 4-8 over their last 12 games.
#50 : The Wings notched their 50th victory of the season on Friday, July 4th. It's the first time the Wings have reached the 50 win mark by July 4th since 1997 . It took the Wings just 88 games to win their 50th of the season -- the quickest to 50 wins since the 2006 season (87 games). Last season, the Wings won #50 on July 13 in their 98th game.
- The 50 wins are the 2nd most in all of Triple-A (SYR, SAC & LV all have 51)
WITH A WIN TODAY, THE WINGS WILL...:
- Tie a season-high w/ their 7th straight win (also, 5/13-5/19) -- It would be first time since '04 w/ 2, 7-G streaks in same year.
- Complete the 2-game sweep of Lehigh Valley and their second straight 2-game series sweep (PAW, 7/2-7/3)...A win tonight would give Rochester their 5th series sweep of the season.

After scoring 8 or more runs in 5 of their last 6 home games, the Wings are now averaging 5.07 R/G (228 R/45 G) at the friendly confines of Frontier Field compared to just 3.93 R/G (169 R/43 G) on the road. The Wings pitching staff has pitched to a 2.94 ERA at home with all 8 of Rochester's shutouts coming at Frontier Field.
