TONIGHT'S GAME: The red-hot Red Wings wrap up their two-game series with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs tonight (7:05 p.m.) at Frontier Field. The Wings come-from-behind win in front of a packed house on Friday, was their 6th straight win as Rochester has moved back within 1.5 games of first-place Syracuse in the IL North . The Wings have answered a 10-game stretch (6/15-6/23) in which they went just 3-7 with an 8-2 run over the last 11 days (6/24- ). Lehigh Valley - in 5th place in the North (9.0 GB) - had their 3-game win streak snapped last night and are just 4-8 over their last 12 games.

#50 : The Wings notched their 50th victory of the season on Friday, July 4th. It's the first time the Wings have reached the 50 win mark by July 4th since 1997 . It took the Wings just 88 games to win their 50th of the season -- the quickest to 50 wins since the 2006 season (87 games). Last season, the Wings won #50 on July 13 in their 98th game.

- The 50 wins are the 2nd most in all of Triple-A (SYR, SAC & LV all have 51)

WITH A WIN TODAY, THE WINGS WILL...:

- Tie a season-high w/ their 7th straight win (also, 5/13-5/19) -- It would be first time since '04 w/ 2, 7-G streaks in same year.

- Complete the 2-game sweep of Lehigh Valley and their second straight 2-game series sweep (PAW, 7/2-7/3)...A win tonight would give Rochester their 5th series sweep of the season.

OVER THE 6-GAME WIN STREAK...:

- The Wings have scored 53 runs (8.8 R/G) on 74 hits (12.3 H/G) ...Outscoring their opponents, 53-27 .

- Rochester has collected 31 extra-base hits -- including 10 home runs (6 of which have come w/ runners on base)

- The Red Wings are hitting .333 (74-for-222) and have been better with RISP batting .375 (27-for-72)

- Rochester has had 9 innings in which they've scored 3 or more runs .

HOME COOKIN': After last night's come-from-behind win, the Wings have won four straight at Frontier Field and now own the best home record in the IL at 30-15 . Only Sacramento of the PCL has a better home mark at 33-15. Over their last 91 home games (since 5/27/13), Rochester is 61-30 (.670). After scoring 8 or more runs in 5 of their last 6 home games, the Wings are now averaging 5.07 R/G (228 R/45 G) at the friendly confines of Frontier Field compared to just 3.93 R/G (169 R/43 G) on the road. The Wings pitching staff has pitched to a 2.94 ERA at home with all 8 of Rochester's shutouts coming at Frontier Field.

COMEBACK KIDS: The Red Wings have erased deficits of three runs or more to win 4 games over their last 16 contests -- including two, 4-run comebacks in each of their last two games against LHV.

- 6/19 vs. PAW: Trailed 6-0 after 6 1/2 innings and won 8-6. Beresford 3-run double in 7th and Ortiz grand slam in 8th

- 6/21 (1) @ BUF: Trailed 3-0 after 4 innings and won 6-3 (7). Rohlfing 2-R 2B in 5th and Rahl 2-R 2B in 6th.

- 6/27 @ LHV: Trailed 4-0 after 6 innings and won 6-5. Nelson 3-run double in the 8th.

- 7/4 vs. LHV: Trailed 6-2 after 5 1/2 innings and won 12-6. 6-run 6th inning capped by Florimon go-ahead 2-R single.

BOTTOM-THIRD PRODUCTION: The bottom third of the Red Wings lineup has delivered over the Wings' 6-game winning streak, combining to hit .392 (29-for-74) with 8 doubles, 2 triples, 3 home runs, 20 runs scored and 16 RBI...Over the last 3 games alone, the 7-8-9 hitters are 17-for-38 (.447) with 6 doubles, 2 triples, 2 homers, 10 runs and 11 RBI .

BLOSSOMING IN THE FLOWER CITY: INF Doug Bernier, batting .328 (41-125) with 27 RBI over his last 39 games, has 5 home runs on the season - the 2nd highest total for any season in his career (9 in 2008 w/ Colorado Springs). Bernier has 8 HR in 164 career games with the Red Wings after hitting just one HR in his previous 301 IL games with SWB and IND . Over his first 164 career games with ROC, Bernier is hitting .295 (153-518) with 80 RBI...Over the prior 301 games (2009-2012) in the league, Bernier hit just .216 (193-892) with 74 RBI.

- Bernier is hitting a team-best .390 (23-59) w/ RISP this season & his hitting .329 (50-152) w/ RISP over 2 years w/ ROC.

- 29% of Bernier's HR's (8 of 28) have come with ROC in 164 games which is just 15% of his 1,126 career MiLB games.

MORE ABOUT LAST NIGHT...:

- The announced crowd of 12,553 was the largest for a Red Wings game at Frontier Field since July 4, 2011.

-Fireworks on the 4th : The 12 runs scored by the Wings was the most on July 4th since at least the 1985 season.

- The 6-run 6th inning tied a season-high for runs in an inning -- it was the 5th, 6-run inning for the Wings this season.

- Pedro Florimon had his 3rd straight multi-hit game & is now 6-for-14 w/ 3 2B, 5 R & 2 RBI over his first four games since option.

- Chris Herrmann (2-2; 3 R, 2 RBI, 3 BB) reached base all 5 times as he tied team highs with 3 runs and 3 walks.

- Aaron Thompson tossed a scoreless 8th inning as to extend his scoreless streak to a 11 1/3 IP -- spanning his last 11 outings
