Red Lion Preseason Tournament Ends with 3-7 Loss for Tri-City

Kennewick, WA - The Americans finish the last day of the Red Lion Preseason Tournament with a loss to the Spokane Chiefs.

Americans, Parker AuCoin, scored the first power play goal in the first period at 7:01 assisted by Sasha Mutala and Isaac Johnson. The Americans second goal came from Connor Bouchard with the help of Matt Dorsey and Samuel Stewart at 1:57. Sasha Mutala scored the third goal in the second period at 15:04.

Chiefs, Riley Woods scored a total of 3 points. His first goal was unassisted in the first period at 2:52. His second goal came in with an assist from Graham Sward in the second period at 15:38. The third goal was scored in that same period at 10:22 with the assistance of Michael King and Egor Arbuzov.

The Americans were out shot a total of 38-16.

Final score: TC 3 - SPO 7

The Americans will open up the 2018-2019 season against the Spokane Chiefs Saturday Sept. 22.
