The Wenatchee AppleSox are on a 11-game winning streak heading in to the weekend road series with the Walla Walla Sweets. Follow the 11-1 AppleSox this weekend by listening to the games on team's radio home 560 KPQ AM or stream them free online at www.kpq.com.

The team will return after the long road trip on Monday to begin a three-game series with the Corvallis Knights. Click here to get your tickets to welcome the team back to town. Monday will be Social Media Night sponsored by Strategically Social. The night will include exclusive giveaways and special incentives for the team's Facebook and Twitter followers.

Tuesday, June 21st is Cashmere Community Night. The Cashmere Night celebration is sponsored by Epledalen Assisted Living, Aplets and Cotlet Factory, Doane's Valley Pharmacy, Crunch Pak, and Barney's Restaurant. FREE tickets for the game can be picked up at any of these businesses while supplies last.

The series wraps up on Wednesday, June 22nd with Apple Blossom Night. Come join the AppleSox and celebrate the outstanding work of our community festival out at the ballpark.

AppleSox Team Up with Westside High School

On Monday, June 20th, Wenatchee Rotary will be sponsoring an open house at West Side High School at 5 PM.

Each community member that attends the open house and takes the tour will enjoy a free barbeque in the school's parking lot, thanks to Rotary, and they'll get a free ticket to the AppleSox game that evening.

Youth Clinics Right around the Corner

The first of the AppleSox annual Youth Instructional Clinics, sponsored by Subway and the Nickel Ads, begin next week. The clinics are for boys and girls ages 6 and older who want to improve their baseball and softball skills.

The clinics feature AppleSox coaches and players as instructors over three sessions that cover pitching, hitting, and general skills. Forms can be picked up at the Nickel office and at all the Subway locations in the Wenatchee Valley, Chelan (Wal-Mart), and Omak.

2011 AppleSox Youth Clinic Dates

Session 1-Pitching:June 20-22

Session 2-Hitting: June 27-29

Session 3-General: July 6-8

Each session runs for three days from 9:00 AM - Noon at the home of the AppleSox, Paul Thomas Sr. Field. Early registration is available now at $75 per session

Become a U.S. Bank "Play Ball" Kid

Do you know a child that would love to go out on the field with the AppleSox and yell "Play Ball!" to start the game' Signups are available now to become a U.S. Bank All-Star. Registartion for this brand new promotion sponsored by U.S. Bank are now being accepted.

To sign up stop by the U.S. Bank branch in Wenatchee, Moses Lake, or Ephrata. The AppleSox will contact you if your child has be selected. Each participant will receive two tickets for that night's game, along with a U.S. Bank t-shirt.
