Sioux Falls, SD - November 27, 2015 - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, dropped their second straight game, this time on the road at Sioux Falls, 97-77. Omari Johnson led the Claws with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Malcolm Miller and Levi Randolph finished with 14 points each, and Jordan Mickey, on assignment from the Boston Celtics, added 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Maine (3-3) started hot, jumping out to a 12-4 lead. From that point on, it was all Skyforce. Sioux Falls (3-2) took a 23-19 lead after one quarter, and extended to 47-33 at halftime.
The Red Claws showed signs of life in the third, scoring 30 points and cutting into the Sioux Falls lead. The Skyforce took control again in the final period, out-scoring Maine 24-14. The Red Claws shot just 38% (27-72) from the floor and 28% (9-32) from three point range.
Jarnell Stokes, on assignment from the Miami Heat, scored 24 points to lead all scorers.
The Red Claws return to action tomorrow night at Sioux Falls, a rematch with the Skyforce. Maine returns home next weekend, with two home games against Erie on Saturday, Dec. 5 and Sunday, Dec. 6. Tickets are on sale now by calling 207-210-6655 or visiting MaineRedClaws.com.
