New York Red Bulls News Release
HARRISON, N.J. (March 12, 2015) - The New York Red Bulls have waived midfielder Ruben Bover, the club announced today.
Bover signed with New York ahead of the 2013 campaign after trialing in preseason. He amassed 22 appearances, including three starts, in two seasons. He scored one goal for the Red Bulls in a 3-1 win over Toronto FC in October of 2014.
Bover previously played at Charlton Athletic in England, and spent time on loan to Spanish club CD San Roque de Lepe in 2011-12.
The New York Red Bulls return to action on Sunday, March 22, when the sixth season of soccer at Red Bull Arena opens against rival D.C. United.
