HOUSTON (Thursday, March 12, 2015) - The Houston Dynamo host MLS newcomer Orlando City SC on Friday at 6 p.m. at BBVA Compass Stadium. Limited tickets are available at www.HoustonDynamo.com, by calling 713-276-GOAL, or by visiting the BBVA Compass Stadium box office (2200 Texas St., Houston) from 9 a.m. through kickoff tomorrow.

Friday's game will be broadcast live on UniMás (UniMás channel guide; SAP English option available) and can be heard on Yahoo Sports Radio 1560 AM and 850 AM (Spanish).

Tomorrow is the first MLS game between Houston and Orlando City SC. The Florida club enter MLS in 2015 after launching in 2011 in USL PRO. The Dynamo defeated Orlando City, 3-0, in a preseason game on Feb. 28 at the Carolina Challenge Cup.

The Dynamo opened their tenth season last Saturday with a 1-0 victory over Columbus Crew SC before a record crowd (22,351) at BBVA Compass Stadium. Giles Barnes scored the winning goal off a precise cross from Kofi Sarkodie and goalkeeper Tyler Deric made six saves as the Dynamo won on opening day for the fourth straight season. New head coach Owen Coyle earned a win in his Dynamo debut after joining the club in December.

Orlando City is led by Brazilian captain Kaká, who won FIFA World Player of the Year in 2007 and the 2002 World Cup with Brazil. A star with AC Milan, Real Madrid and his boyhood club São Paulo, he won the UEFA Champions League (2006-07) and Serie A title with Milan and Liga BBVA in Spain with Real Madrid. His other individual awards include Serie A Footballer of the Year ('04,'07) and UEFA Team of the Year ('06, '07, '09). The Lions also feature Trinidad and Tobago international Kevin Molino, who set a USL PRO record with 25 goals last season, and Colombian forward Carlos Rivas, who scored 12 goals as a 20-year-old with Deportivo Cali last season. Former Dynamo goalkeeper Tally Hall, a two-time MLS All-Star, is also with Orlando City and currently recovering after ACL surgery last September.

Orlando City opened its inaugural MLS season against New York City FC on Sunday before 62,510 fans at the Citrus Bowl - the largest attendance ever for a soccer game at the stadium, including the 1994 FIFA World Cup, and the second-largest attendance ever for an MLS inaugural match. The game ended 1-1 after Kaká's tying goal in second-half stoppage time.

After Friday's game, the Dynamo visit the LA Galaxy on Saturday, March 21 at StubHub Center for the first road game of the season. The Dynamo return home to host the Colorado Rapids on Saturday, March 28 at BBVA Compass Stadium. For tickets for the Dynamo's tenth season, including full-season plans starting at $380 and partial-season plans starting at $99, visit www.HoustonDynamo.com or call 713-276-GOAL.
