Red Bulls Head to Audi Field for Final Leg of 2022 Atlantic Cup against D.C. United

HARRISON, N.J. -The New York Red Bulls (10-7-6, 36 pts.) will head to Audi Field on Saturday, August 6 for the final leg of 2022 Atlantic Cup against D.C. United (6-13-3, 21 pts.). Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG, MSG GO, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

Coverage on MSG begins at 7 p.m. ET with the Red Bulls Pregame show. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.

New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 6:30 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Stefano Fusaro will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 7 p.m. ET.

This will be the 85th overall regular season meeting between New York and D.C. Untied, with D.C. holding the advantage with a 36-32-16 mark. The Red Bulls have earned two wins against D.C. this season, which includes a 4-1 victory at Red Bull Arena on May 28. D.C. United earned their first victory under Head Coach Wayne Rooney on Sunday, July 31, against Orlando City SC. D.C. United have one win in their last five matches.

Midfielder Luquinhas scored his first career multi-goal in MLS on May 28 against D.C. United. The Brazilian midfielder registered his third MLS assist of the season against Colorado Rapids on Tuesday and has now registered six assists across all competitions. He earned Week 15 Player of the Week honors the last time New York played D.C. United.

Following Saturday's match, the Red Bulls return to Red Bull Arena on Saturday, August 13 to battle Orlando City SC. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG, MSG GO, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
