
Sounders FC Travels to Atlanta for Nationally-Televised Matchup

SEATTLE, WASH. - After a 1-0 win over FC Dallas on Tuesday, Seattle Sounders FC (10-11-2, 32 points) travels across the country to Georgia to take on Atlanta United FC (6-9-7, 25 points) on Saturday in a nationally-televised fixture (12:00 p.m. PT / ABC, ESPN Deportes, 93.3 KJR FM, El Rey 1360 AM). The matchup marks the fifth time these two teams have faced off, with the Rave Green holding an unbeaten 1-0-3 record against Atlanta since 2017. The two sides most recently played to a 1-1 draw at Lumen Field on May 23, 2021.
Sounders FC currently sits in seventh place in the Western Conference with 32 points, right above the playoff line. Atlanta is on the outside looking in, currently in 12th place in the Eastern Conference with 25 points through 22 matches played.
Following tomorrow's matchup, Sounders FC returns home to face Real Salt Lake on Sunday, August 14 (7:00 p.m. PT / FOX13+, Prime Video 93.3 KJR FM, El Rey 1360 AM).
