RED DEER, AB - Brent Sutter, General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today the signing of forward Jhett Larson. Larson was the Rebels 8th round selection, 163rd overall, in the 2019 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
Larson is from Delisle, Saskatchewan and played last season with the Notre Dame Hounds in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League. In 40 games, he had 14 goals, 23 assists for 37 points. Larson also played with Team Saskatchewan in the 2019 WHL Cup. In 5 games, he had 1 goal and 4 assists for 5 points as Team Saskatchewan won the Championship for the first time.
