
Rebels Make Deal With Hurricanes

Red Deer Rebels News Release
RED DEER, AB - Brent Sutter, General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced a trade this evening with the Lethbridge Hurricanes. The Rebels have acquired 17-year old forward Josh Tarzwell, a 2nd round selection in the 2019 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft, and a conditional 3rd round WHL Bantam Draft pick in 2020 for 19-year old forward Lane Zablocki.
Tarzwell is in his second season in the WHL, he's played 66 games, scoring 5 goals and 14 assists for 19 points. He is from Red Deer and is a graduate of the Red Deer Minor Hockey Association. Tarzwell was a 2nd round WHL Bantam pick of the Hurricanes in 2015.
