Real Salt Lake Announces Partnership with Maverik for Maverik Mayhem Corner

SANDY, Utah (Monday, March 11, 2013) - Real Salt Lake and Maverik - Adventure's First Stop announced on Monday that they've partnered to sell ticket vouchers to RSL home matches at Rio Tinto Stadium at 69 Maverik locations throughout the Salt Lake valley.

"RSL is excited about our new, long-term partnership with Maverik that includes the branding of the Maverik Mayhem Corner and the Maverik BonFire Grill at Rio Tinto Stadium," said Andy Carroll, RSL Vice President of Corporate Partnerships. "Maverik is a great, family-owned, local company that will provide our fans with the best convenience and value to purchase RSL tickets throughout the season. The wide-ranging aspects of this partnership are consistent with Maverik's goal of truly creating the best convenience and value for their customers each and every day. The broad reach that Maverik has throughout Utah's communities will extend RSL's top-of-mind awareness and ticket sales efforts throughout the Wasatch Front."

Fans can buy $16 ticket vouchers to sit in the Maverik Mayhem Corner - located in the southeast corner of Rio Tinto Stadium in sections 6 and 7 - at participating Maverik locations. Ticket vouchers can be redeemed for any Real Salt Lake match at Rio Tinto Stadium at the Rio Tinto Stadium box office.

"Maverik is looking forward to a great adventure with RSL," said Maverik's Ernie Harker. "This is one of those truly unique win-win partnerships. RSL is likely to increase its audience from Maverik's huge pool of customers, while the discounted ticket vouchers for the Maverik Mayhem section will attract a valuable soccer fan customer base for Maverik. We're also thrilled with the new Maverik BonFire concession area which will bring some delicious Maverik signature food items to Rio Tinto Stadium."

Real Salt Lake will redeem ticket vouchers on a first come, first serve basis. Fans are strongly recommended to redeem their ticket vouchers in advance, as vouchers will not be redeemed for games that have already sold out.

Real Salt Lake will open its home schedule on Saturday at Rio Tinto Stadium against Rocky Mountain Cup Presented by Mark Miller Subaru rival Colorado Rapids. Saturday's match will kickoff at 4:00 p.m. MT. Tickets for Saturday's home opener can be purchased online at www.RealSaltLake.com/Tickets.
