CORPUS CHRISTI - High school baseball resumes Wednesday afternoon at Whataburger Field when the Ray Texans (10-2-1) play San Antonio Southside (4-4) at 3 p.m.
The 2009 state finalist and two-time state champion Moody Trojans (14-3) were set to meet Laredo United (4-4) under the lights 45 minutes after the conclusion of Ray's game, but the Longhorns are committed to a district contest postponed earlier due to rain.
Ray-SA Southside tickets go on sale Wednesday at 9 at the Whataburger Field Box Office. Adult tickets are $5; youth/student tickets $3. Children 3-&-under are admitted free.
