Brooklyn Cyclones News Release

As the regular season comes to a close, the Brooklyn Cyclones are giving their fans much to cheer about - not only with a playoff berth, but with "Fan Appreciation Night" on Friday, September 7th at KeySpan Park in Coney Island! At 7 PM, the Cyclones will face off with the Lowell Spinners in their final game of the regular season.

Ray Ebbets, the closest living descendant of Charles Ebbets (the former president/owner of the Brooklyn Dodgers who built Ebbets Field) will be on hand to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. It is an appropriate bookend to the season on, this, the 50th anniversary of Dem Bums leaving the borough.

The team will also be giving away their most unique item of the summer in the form of a Brooklyn Bridge Bobblehead to the first 2,500 fans in attendance. In addition, the game will feature the always amazing Coney Island fireworks show, and an appearance by the hilarious traveling entertainer, BirdZerk!

WHEN: Friday, September 7th at 7 PM

WHERE: KeySpan Park, Coney Island

1904 Surf Avenue at W. 17th Street
