Phoenix, AZ - The Arizona Rattlers have signed lineman Zach Rupp, the team announced today. To make room on their training camp roster, the Rattlers have waived lineman Jerome Evans. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Rupp (6-5, 250) played two seasons at the University of New Mexico, totaling 69 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks for the Lobos. He was a member of the 2002 and 2003 Las Vegas Bowl squads. "We have been looking at Zach for a while," said GM Gene Nudo. "We are very excited to be able to bring him in. He can be a great addition to our line."
