Wisconsin Timber Rattlers News Release

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers first-ever Dime Hot Dog Night was a foot-long success story. The Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers set a record for the most hot dogs sold in a single night with 7,267.

The new record blew past the old record of 5,408.

"It was a fun night and great to see so many fans show up for our first ever Dime Dog Night," said Timber Rattlers president Rob Zerjav. "Combine that with our first ever wiener dog race and a Timber Rattlers victory powered by a KJ Harrison grand slam, which gave one lucky fan $4,000 worth of furniture from Steinhafels, it was truly a memorable night at the ballpark."

Wisconsin will host the final game of its two-game series with the Cedar Rapids Kernels on Tuesday night. The first 1,000 fans to attend this game will receive a patriotic Timber Rattlers baseball hat courtesy of Bergstrom Automotive. Everyone will get to see the postgame fireworks display, which is also courtesy of Bergstrom Automotive. The gates to the ballpark open at 5:00pm with a game time of 6:35pm.
