Rasmus Named To All Star Team

The Rome Braves announce that RHP Cory Rasmus has been selected for the 2010 South Atlantic League All Star Team replacing Arodys Vizcaino who was called to Myrtle Beach last week.
Rasmus has pitched well with an ERA of 3.00 in 14 appearances and a record of 3-4. He began the season in the bullpen but was later called to the starting rotation and has started seven games. Rasmus has walked 15 and struck out 46 and opponents are hitting .240 against him.
The All Star Game will be played in Greenville, SC on June 22nd.
