Kicking off an evening of celebration as the River City Rascals gear up for Frontier League playoffs, O'Fallon's River City Rascals Pep Rally will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 5, at T.R. Hughes Ballpark, 900 T.R. Hughes Boulevard in O'Fallon, MO 63366. Admission is free! Fans can purchase delicious food from food trucks and beverages and snacks from ballpark concessions, and watch a free showing of the blockbuster movie, Frozen, on a big screen set up in the centerfield.

There's more: the Sunset Amusement Band will provide popular rock and country hits, the O'Fallon Police Department's K-9 team will give demonstrations, and from 7:30 - 8 p.m., Rascals players will meet with fans and sign autographs. In addition, a variety of free activities and entertainment will be provided throughout the ballpark from 6 - 8 p.m., including "between inning" games and giveaways, appearances by Ruffy, the Rascals' mascot, a stilt walker/baseball juggler, face painters, a balloon artist, hula hoop demonstrations, old-fashioned bubble-blowing and an inflatable speed pitch. The St. Charles County Amateur Sports Hall of Fame will be open, free. And the Rascals' Team Shop and Box Office will be selling souvenirs and playoff tickets.

"We invite everyone in the City to come on out for good food and fun as we get together to boost this great team," said O'Fallon's Mayor, Bill Hennessy. "This past spring and summer, the Rascals gave our fans one of their best seasons, and we're wanting to support them in bringing the Frontier League title back home. And, don't forget to buy your playoff tickets while you're there."

The Wild Card Round of the Frontier League Playoffs begins Saturday, September 6. For more information on playoff dates, ticket deals and ticket availability, call the Rascals Box Office at 636-240-2287, ext. 232, or visit www.rivercityrascals.com.
