Rascals Idol Night at T.R. Hughes Ballpark August 28th

O'Fallon, Missouri- The River City Rascals are excited to announce their upcoming Rascals Idol Night at T.R. Hughes Ballpark on Friday, August 28th at 6:35 PM.
This promotional event is the first of its kind for the Rascals, and we are excited to put on a fabulous show for our fans! The highlight of the evening will be the opportunity for the fans to experience a real "American Idol" type contest where local artists display their talent during the game, and fans will decide who will be the first "Rascals Idol". Judges will be present during audition periods to select three finalists who will perform in front of the crowd during the game on August 28th. The winner of the Rascals Idol competition will receive a cash prize of five hundred dollars!
Auditions for Rascals Idol will be held on Tuesday, August 25th and Wednesday, August 26th from 5-7 PM at T.R. Hughes Ballpark in O'Fallon. To take part in auditions, you must purchase a ticket to the game on Friday, August 28th. It is highly encouraged to call ahead to reserve a time slot during one of the audition periods. Walk-ups are welcome as well, but timing is not guaranteed. Call (636) 240-2287 to reserve your spot.
Fans must be at least 16 years of age to participate in auditions, and a valid ID will be required at that time. To purchase your required ticket, you can come to the Rascals box office any time before or during your audition. You must show your ticket as well as your ID before you can audition. All auditions will be a cappella. Three finalists will be chosen to perform in front of the crowd and compete for the cash prize.
