LOVES PARK - The Aviators fell to the River City Rascals once again Sunday, 15-10. The game was tied headed to the 8th, but the Rascals capitalized for 8 in the 8th and 9th combined to complete the sweep at Aviators Stadium.

The game started promisingly for the Aviators, who jumped out to a 3-0 lead behind homeruns by Dusty Robinson and Anthony Renteria. But the Rascals would tag Aviator starter Kyle Brueggemann for 2 in the 4th, 1 in the 5th, and then 3 in the 6th.

The Aviators hung around though and scored twice in the 7th courtesy of a homerun by Michael Hur and an RBI single by Cameron Garfield to turn a 7-5 game into a tie.

The Rascals launched a pair of homers in the 8th though, including a grand slam by Danny Canela, to reassume the lead and put it out of reach.

The Aviators will enjoy two days of rest before heading to Evansville on Wednesday for a doubleheader against the Otters. First pitch in the DH Wednesday is slated for 5:35 PM.
