MISSOULA, MONT - The Missoula Osprey (14-14) fell 11-4 in the series finale to the Ogden Raptors (18- 10) Friday from Lindquist Field. Buddy Kennedy finished the day with two hits and an RBI for the Osprey.

Ogden struck first in the bottom of the first as Jacob Amaya drew a leadoff walk. After a wild pitch to advance him to second, Amaya stole third and scored on the throw down to the bag. With two men on, Matt Cogen grounded into a fielder's choice to bring home the second run for the Raptors. Ogden padded its lead with another run on a Missoula error to take a 3-0 lead after one. Daniel Robinson then tripled home a run in the second for Ogden to push the lead to 4-0.

Neither team could crack the scoreboard until the Osprey did in the top of the seventh. Alex King started with a walk, his second of the game, and Nick Dalesandro singled to center. Jesus Munoz singled with one out to load the bases, while Jesus Marriaga walked to force in a run. Brandon Leyton then drove a single back up the middle to plate two and pull the Osprey within one.

With two outs, Buddy Kennedy doubled to the fence in center to score a run and tie the game at four, but Leyton was tagged out at the plate to keep the game even after six and a half innings. Dillon Paulsen then launched a solo home run for the Raptors in the bottom of the inning to give them the lead for good.

In the eighth inning, the Raptors tagged on six runs with six hits and two walks to win 11-4 Friday to finish the series.

Kennedy finished the game with two hits and an RBI, while Leyton drove home two for the Osprey. Melvin Ovalles (0-2) is pegged with the loss. Austin Drury (1-0) earned the win after throwing the final 2.1 innings for the Raptors.

Missoula heads to Idaho Falls Saturday to battle the Chukars for the first time this season. First pitch is slated for 7:15 pm. The Selway Armory Pregame Show begins at 7:00 p.m. on 102.9 ESPN Missoula and the MiLB First Pitch App.
