
Rapids to Host Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC in U.S. Open Cup on June 16

The Colorado Rapids announced today the ticket information for their 2015 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Fourth Round matchup against the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC of the USL at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. The game is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16 at 7:00 p.m. MT.
The Switchbacks FC advanced to the Fourth Round after defeating Real Monarchs SC 1-0 on Wednesday night at Rio Tinto Stadium. After eight games, Colorado Springs (4-4-0) sits in eighth place of the USL Western Conference with 12 points.
Special ticket pricing is in place for the U.S. Open Cup match, with general admission seating on the West side of the stadium for $15. In addition, Rapids Season Ticket Members will receive a special offer via email on Monday morning. Fans will be able to purchase tickets by visiting www.ColoradoRapids.com. All tickets will go on sale for the match on Monday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m. MT.
The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, an annual knock-out tournament featuring soccer teams from all levels of American soccer (from amateur through MLS), is in its 102nd year, making it the oldest continuously-running soccer competition in the United States.
After a 1-0 midweek defeat on the road against Seattle Sounders FC, the Rapids return to Dick's Sporting Goods Park to host Portland Timbers on Saturday night.
