Houston Dynamo Visit New York City FC Tomorrow at Yankee Stadium

HOUSTON (Friday, May 29, 2015) - The Houston Dynamo face MLS expansion club New York City FC on Saturday at 6 p.m. CT at Yankee Stadium in New York for the first MLS meeting between the clubs.

Tomorrow's game will be broadcast live on ROOT SPORTS Southwest Alternate Channel (5:30 p.m. pregame; channel guide) and in Spanish on TeleXitos (5:30 p.m. pregame). The game can be heard on Yahoo Sports Radio 1560 AM and in Spanish on La Ranchera 850 AM and 101.7 FM.

The Dynamo have opened the season with a strong start away from home. Through five road games, the Dynamo are 1-2-2 (5 points) and nearly have an even goal difference (-1). On Saturday Houston continues a stretch of six of eight and 10 of 14 games on the road.

New York City FC joined MLS as an expansion club this season alongside Orlando City SC. The club is led by forward David Villa, Spain' all-time leading goal scorer, who has nine career goals at World Cup finals and helped La Roja win the 2008 European Championships and 2010 World Cup. The Bronx club also features midfielder Mix Diskerud, a member of the U.S. national team squad at the 2014 World Cup.

Last weekend the Dynamo suffered a 1-0 loss on the road against the LA Galaxy, snapping a two-game win streak. Captain Brad Davis became the sixth player in MLS history to make 350 career MLS regular-season appearances.
