NEW YORK - New York Rangers General Manager Jeff Gorton announced today that the team has assigned defenseman Brady Skjei and goaltender Magnus Hellberg to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Skjei has skated in four games with the Rangers this season, registering four shots on goal and two penalty minutes. The 6-3, 215-pounder has skated in 56 games with the Wolf Pack in 2015-16, registering three goals and 20 assists for 23 points, along with 24 penalty minutes.

Hellberg has appeared in one game with the Rangers this season. The 6-6, 200-pounder has appeared in 40 games with the Wolf Pack in 2015-16, posting a 22-16-2 record, along with a 2.39 GAA, a .919 SV%, and 3 SO.
