WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) goalie Franky Palazzese to a professional tryout contract.
An undrafted free agent out of the Ontario Hockey League, the second-year pro currently leads the Nailers with four shutouts this season. Furthermore, Palazzese started the year by setting a career-best shutout streak dating back to the 2014-15 regular season (108:21).
