Steven Swavely Signed to ATO

Lehigh Valley, PA - The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, have signed forward Steven Swavely to an ATO (amateur try-out).

A 24-year-old forward from Reading, Pennsylvania, Swavely recently completed his senior season at the University of Maine where, while serving as the team's captain, he tallied nine goals, 10 assists and 19 points in 38 games with the Black Bears. In a four-year career at Maine, the 6'1", 190-pound forward amassed 33 goals, 48 assists and 81 points across 146 career games.

The Phantoms continue their five-game road swing tonight when the team invades the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton for a 7:05 p.m. showdown with the Penguins.
