Syracuse Crunch and U.S. Army Team up to Offer Scholarship

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch and the U.S. Army have teamed up to offer two deserving high school students in the Syracuse area the U.S. Army and Syracuse Crunch High School Scholarship.

The U.S. Army and Syracuse Crunch High School Scholarship will be given to two students who demonstrate a commitment to serving their communities and taking leadership roles in their schools. The applicants will be required to exhibit how they incorporate Army values into their everyday lives and explain what values are important to them. The two chosen recipients will receive $500 each to add to their college savings.

Players from the Syracuse Crunch will visit local high schools and distribute scholarship information in support of the U.S. Army and Syracuse Crunch High School Scholarship. Scholarship applications should be submitted here and will be reviewed by a member of the U.S Army. Recipients will be chosen in April and honored on the ice at a Syracuse Crunch game by a representative from the U.S. Army.
