THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Friday, Oct. 23 vs. Hamilton Bulldogs, AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.

Hamilton will make its first and only visit to the Alamo City of the 2009-10 campaign on Friday. Last season, San Antonio earned a record of 0-2-0-0 against the Bulldogs, including a 0-1-0-0 record at the AT&T Center.

Saturday, Oct. 24 vs. Houston Aeros, AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 25 vs. Houston Aeros, AT&T Center, 3:00 p.m.

San Antonio will host their "Lonestar Faceoff" foe Houston Aeros on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Last Friday, the Aeros defeated the Rampage by a 5-2 score in Houston. Hous- ton currently trails San Antonio by seven points in the West Division standings.

SHOTS FROM THE POINT 09-10

STELLAR START: San Antonio is off to the best start in Rampage franchise history, boasting a record of 6-1-1-0 and an AHL leading 13 standings points through their first eight games of 2009-10.

GOALS GALORE: The Rampage currently lead the American Hockey League in goals scored (33) and are tied for third among AHL teams in goals per game (4.13).

RECORD SETTERS: This past weekend against Grand Rapids, San Antonio broke a franchise record for the fastest two goals in a period (scoring two goals in an 10 second span on Oct. 17), broke a franchise record for the fastest goal scored from the start of a game (scoring 19 seconds after the initial faceoff on Oct. 17) and set a franchise record for goals in a single period (6 - becoming the first AHL team to score as many as six goals in the first period of a game since Dec. 26, 2005 (when Wilkes-Barre/Scranton scored seven goals in the first period vs. Hershey).

MILESTONE MARKER: On Sunday afternoon Rampage captain Jeff Hoggan registered the 100th goal of this American Hockey League career.

Ice Chips: Left Wing - Brett MacLean

San Antonio left wing Brett MacLean has been on a Rampage of late, tallying seven points (6g, 1a) and helping lead the Rampage to a 3-1-0-0 record last week.

The London, Ontario native is currently tied for the AHL lead in goals (6), tied for fifth among AHL players in points (8) and tied for third among AHL skaters in shots on goal (28) in 2009-10. MacLean is in the midst of a three-game goal streak, during which he has recorded six goals.
