SAN ANTONIO (March 22, 2012) - The San Antonio Rampage received goals from four different players en route to a 4-2 victory over the Grand Rapids Griffins on Thursday night at the AT&T Center.

Grand Rapids center Brent Raedeke scored the game's first goal at 6:28 of the opening period to hand the Griffins an early 1-0 advantage. After a blocked shot caromed off the glass, Raedeke corralled the puck and jammed it between the legs of Rampage backstop Jacob Markstrom for his ninth goal of the season. The assists on the play went to defenseman Doug Janik and right wing Willie Coetzee.

San Antonio defenseman Michael Caruso evened the game at 1-1 just over a minute later. He took a feed from right wing Bill Thomas and beat Grand Rapids goaltender Tom McCollum glove side to register his fourth goal of the campaign. The secondary assist on the Caruso score went to defenseman Colby Robak.

The Rampage took a 2-1 lead when center James Wright deflected a Greg Rallo shot past McCollum's left arm at the 4:43 mark of the second stanza. Right wing Michal Repik notched the secondary assist on Wright's ninth goal of the year.

Rallo scored on a slap shot from the top of the left circle 14:41 into the second to put San Antonio ahead 3-1. Repik and defenseman Tyson Strachan were credited with the assists on Rallo's 18th marker of 2011-12.

Grand Rapids left wing Chris Minard recorded his sixth goal versus the Rampage this season nearly a minute later when he received a pass from right wing Chris Conner and beat a sprawling Markstrom to make the count 3-2 in favor of the Rampage. The score was Minard's 16th of the year.

Thomas restored San Antonio's two-goal advantage, at 4-2, 2:35 into the third period on a successful wraparound attempt. The helpers on Thomas' 23rd marker of the campaign went to forwards Bracken Kearns and Mark Cullen. With the goal, Thomas tied Joel Perrault for second in Rampage history (60) in that category.

The line of Thomas, Kearns, and Cullen combined for seven goals and 12 assists in four games against the Griffins this season.

Markstrom made 31 saves on 33 Griffins attempts to pick up his 10th win of the season. McCollum turned aside 23 of the 27 Rampage shots he faced in the Grand Rapids loss.

San Antonio (34-26-3-2) will head to Abbotsford this weekend to play two pivotal games with the Heat. The first contest of the back-to-back set takes place at 9 p.m. (CST) on Saturday at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre.
