The Grand Rapids Rampage opens its ninth AFL season in Columbus, Ohio on Sunday, January 29, 2006. Grand Rapids' remaining road schedule includes visits to Nashville, Colorado, Las Vegas, Chicago, New York, Dallas and Austin.

The Rampage home opener is set for week two, when the Tampa Bay Storm travel to Centennial Wireless Field at Van Andel Arena for a 7:30 p.m. kick-off on Friday, February 3. In addition to home contests against Central Division rivals Nashville, Chicago and defending ArenaBowl champion Colorado; the Rampage will host the Tampa Bay Storm, Los Angeles Avengers, San Jose SaberCats, Arizona Rattlers and expansion Utah Blaze. The Rampage's eight home games consist of three Sundays, three Saturdays, a Friday and a rare Thursday contest.

Grand Rapids concludes the 2006 season with three of their final four games at home. The team will close out the regular season on May 13th with a home game against the Chicago Rush.

Notes regarding the Rampage's 2006 schedule:

The Rampage will face each team in 2006 that it defeated in 2005 (Columbus, Colorado, Chicago and Los Angeles).

The team will play eight games against 2005 playoff teams. In 2005, the Rampage played 12 games against playoff teams from 2004.

The Rampage will make their first trip to Austin in franchise history.

The March 16th game will mark the sixth Thursday game in franchise history.

The 2006 season will close at home for the fourth season in a row.

From February 25 through April 15, the Rampage will play six of eight games on the road.

Single-game tickets will go on sale in December but season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 1.888.595.4878.
