Rampage recall Cullaton from Laredo

SAN ANTONIO – Jan. 29, 2004 – San Antonio Rampage General Manager Bobby Jay announced that the Rampage recalled center Brent Cullaton from the Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League and assigned right wing Sean O'Connor to the Augusta Lynx of the ECHL.

Cullaton, 29, joins the Rampage for the third time this season. The 6-foot, 220-pound forward has played in six games with San Antonio, recording 1-4-5 and four penalty minutes (PIM). The Cambridge, Ontario native is the second highest scorer for Laredo registering 25-50-75 in 39 games played this season. He represented the Bucks in the 2004 Dodge CHL All-Star game as a starter and recorded an assist, while capturing the Fastest Skater award in the Comcast All-Star Skills Competition by skating a lap around the ice in 14.28 seconds. Cullaton also was the CHL's Player of the Month for December.

The 22-year old O'Connor has played 28 games with the Rampage this season, recording one point (goal) and 88 PIM's. The Victoria, British Columbia native has been a healthy scratch for five games this season. In 36 career AHL games, O'Connor has one point and 92 PIM's.

Team Announces Schedule Change

The Rampage's game at Manitoba on Sat., Feb. 21, has been changed to 6 p.m. (CST) from the originally scheduled 7:30 p.m. time.
