Defenseman Chris Armstrong recalled by Anaheim

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Cincinnati Mighty Ducks defenseman Chris Armstrong was recalled by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim on Thursday.

Armstrong, 28, has six goals and 24 assists in 44 games with Cincinnati this season, leading all AHL defensemen in points (30) and assists. The 6-foot-0, 198-pounder leads Cincinnati in assists and is tied for second in points. He has played in three career NHL games with Minnesota, going scoreless.

A native of Regina, Saskatchewan, Armstrong was selected by the Florida Panthers in the third round (57th overall) in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft.
