Thrashers, Wolves Make Changes

The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned centers Daniel Corso and Kamil Piros to the Chicago Wolves. In addition, the Wolves have reassigned center Kevin Doell to the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL.

Corso, who was acquired by the Thrashers from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for Brad Tapper on Jan. 6, tallied one assist in seven games with the Thrashers after being recalled on Jan. 15.

The Montreal, Quebec native posted five points (2G, 3A) in four games with the Wolves before being recalled earlier this month; overall, Corso has registered nine goals and 23 points in 36 games with Ottawa¹s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators, and Wolves this season.

Piros, who recorded one assist and two penalty minutes in 11 games with Atlanta to begin the season, was scoreless in three games after being recalled by the Thrashers on Jan. 21.

The Most, Czech Republic, native ranks fourth on the Wolves with +8 plus/minus rating and has notched seven goals, 12 assists and 19 points in 32 games with Chicago this season.

Doell tallied two points (G, A) and a +2 plus/minus rating in six games with the Wolves, which includes his first AHL goal last Saturday against the Utah Grizzlies.

The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, native ranks third on the Gladiators with 13 goals and second on the club with 22 assists and 35 points in 34 games with Gwinnett.
