Rampage reasign Osaer to Texas Wildcatters

SAN ANTONIO – Oct. 17, 2004 – San Antonio Rampage Director of Hockey Operations Matt Loughran announced today that the club has reassigned goaltender Phil Osaer to the Texas Wildcatters of the ECHL.

Osaer, 24, appeared in two preseason games for the Rampage, going 1-1-0-0 with a 2.96 goals against average (GAA). Last season, the Livonia, Michigan native appeared in 21 games with Hartford (AHL), posting a 8-10-2 record with a 2.22 GAA. In his 45-game AHL career, Osaer has posted a 17-19-5 record with four shutouts and a 2.59 GAA. Osaer was originally offered a free-agent tryout and then officially signed by San Antonio to an AHL contract on October 1, 2004.

The Rampage (2-0-0-0) begin a two-game series against the Edmonton Road Runners on Monday, Oct. 18 in Edmonton with an 8 p.m. (CST) face-off. The Rampage conclude the series on Wednesday, Oct. 20.
