Rampage Ink Forward Wade Megan to ATO

SAN ANTONIO (March 28, 2013) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Mike Santos announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed forward Wade Megan to an amateur tryout contact.

Megan, 22, completed his senior year at Boston University where he scored 29 points (16 goals, 13 assists) in 38 games while serving as the captain of the club. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound forward led the Terriers in goals during his junior year (20) and also finished the year with 29 points. The native of Canton, N.Y., tallied 83 points in 151 career games at Boston University. Megan was selected by the Florida Panthers in the fifth-round (138th overall) in 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

The Rampage will face the Grand Rapids Griffins tonight (Thursday) at 7 p.m. on an All-You-Can-Eat Game before heading to Charlotte for a pair of games on Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. Tickets for all remaining Rampage home games start at $10 and can be purchased at the AT&T Center Southeast Box Office, by calling a Rampage representative at 210-444-5554 or online at sarampage.com.
