Rockford took a 1-0 lead going into the first intermission, the third straight game the Rampage have trailed by one after the first 20 minutes of play.

Connor Brickley tied the game at one, flipping the puck past Scott Darling at 6:42 of the middle frame for his 17th tally of the season and the lone goal scored in the second period.

Cody Bass gave Rockford a 2-1 lead and the eventual game-winner at 9:53 of the final frame with his second goal of the season.

Ellis stopped 29-of-31 shots and Darling turned away all but one of the Rampage's 30 shots.
