San Antonio Rampage News Release

SAN ANTONIO (June 28, 2006) - San Antonio Rampage Director of Hockey Business Operations Rick Carden announced today the club's schedule format for the 2006-07 American Hockey League regular season. The top affiliate for the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes will play 15 opponents-up one from last season--during the 2006-07 campaign.

The Rampage, who play in the West Division of the Western Conference, will face the Syracuse Crunch again after a year-long break and will take on the new Worcester Sharks, who are relocating from Cleveland this season.

San Antonio's unbalanced schedule that is heavily weighted around conference play, especially against its seven-team division with a total of 58 games, remains unchanged from last year. The 2006 Calder Cup Finalist Milwaukee Admirals and the Chicago Wolves will face the Rampage eight times (4 home, 4 road). The Iowa Stars, Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights and Peoria Rivermen will play the Coyotes affiliate 10 times (5 home, 5 road) while the Rampage will face in-state rival Houston Aeros the most with 12 games (6 home, 6 road).

The Rampage will play a total of 16 games against non-division Western Conference foes from the North Division (Grand Rapids Griffins, Hamilton Bulldogs, Manitoba Moose, Rochester Americans, Syracuse and the Toronto Marlies). The Hartford Wolf Pack and the Manchester Monarchs (one home, one road) are the only teams from the Eastern Conference that will play San Antonio.

The entire 2006-07 Rampage schedule will be announced later in the summer. Season tickets will continue to start at just $7 per game and include the Coyotes-Rampage exhibition game on Sept. 23. All full season ticket holders receive numerous benefits, including, free food and drink, use of the ticket exchange program, and free ticket vouchers (good for any game in their price category) as well as an invitation to exclusive Rampage functions and price saving on playoff tickets.
