
'Dogs home opener set for Friday October 6th

With their 11th season in Hamilton quickly approaching, the Bulldogs are excited to announce that the hockey club will battle 16 different teams during the American Hockey League's 2006-2007 regular season. The home-half of the 'Dogs regular season schedule is set to open on Friday, October 6th, 2006 at Copps Coliseum.
With the relocation of the San Jose Sharks American Hockey League affiliate from Cleveland to Worcester for the 2006-2007 season, Hamilton's Bulldogs will play out of the AHL's newly formatted six-team North Division of the Western Conference.
70 of the 'Dogs 80 regular season games will be against teams in the Western Conference - 48 versus their five North Division rivals, and 22 versus the seven teams in the West Division. Hamilton's 10 remaining games will be against four of the seven teams in the East Division of the Eastern Conference. The Bulldogs will not play any teams in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference.
