Rampage Announce Roster Moves

SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 24, 2015) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Eric Joyce announced today that defenseman Shayne Taker and forward Steven Hodges have been reassigned to the club's ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones.

Taker, who was recalled to the Rampage on Feb. 9, has skated in four games with San Antonio this season. He has tallied two goals and eight assists in 37 games with Cincinnati during the 2014-15 campaign. The Vancouver, BC native played in five games with the Rampage last season after wrapping up a four-year college career at Notre Dame, where he recorded eight goals and 39 assists in 152 games.

Hodges, who was recalled to San Antonio on Feb. 23, has recorded a goal and an assist in 23 games with the Rampage this season, and has four goals and three assists in 15 games with the Cyclones. He signed an entry-level contract with the Panthers on June 1, 2014 after spending the last three seasons with the Victoria Royals (WHL), where he collected 70 goals and 74 assists in 184 games.
