Anaheim Recalls William Karlsson

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks have recalled center William Karlsson from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals.

Karlsson, 22, has donned a Ducks jersey previously this season, collecting three points (two goals, one assist), a plus-minus rating of +2 and two penalty minutes in 17 games. For the Admirals, the 6-foot, 185-pounder has registered 21 points on seven goals and 14 assists in 35 games, including eight points in his last six contests. Drafted 53rd overall in 2011, Karlsson scored his first two NHL goals, one of which was the game-winner, at Buffalo on October 13.

Norfolk hosts a back-to-back series against Providence beginning Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. The Admirals will then finish up their four-game homestand next week against Binghamton.
